Fall is a wonderful time for a wedding ceremony. My husband and I were married in the fall. Colors deepen, berries ripen then spill into seed, local farmers reap the last of the harvest before the first frost. It is a season that beckons life changes.
When I awake in the mornings in the cool crisp of the approaching autumn, I can taste the memory of sweetness of our first anniversary wedding cake and it puts a calmness in my heart.
